Job summary

To The Rescue is seeking Transportation Drivers to provide safe and reliable transportation for individuals with disabilities in the Cedar Rapids area.

This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with flexible scheduling. You will operate various vehicles, assist passengers with mobility aids, and maintain professional conduct while documenting daily routes and communicating with the team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and eligibility for company vehicle insurance.
• Must meet all applicable DOT and company requirements to operate company vehicles.
• Comfortable operating larger vehicles and transporting individuals.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport individuals to appointments, services, and activities in either a mini-bus, a larger passenger van, or equivalent vehicle.
• Assist passengers with wheelchairs, walkers, and personal belongings as needed
• Ensure passengers are safely loaded and unloaded
• Maintain a professional and respectful environment
• Complete basic transportation documentation and communicate with team members as needed
