Job summary

To The Rescue in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking Transportation Drivers to provide safe, reliable transport for individuals with disabilities in the community. This role offers a meaningful, independent workday with opportunities for full-time or flexible part-time schedules and daily interaction with passengers.

You will operate minibuses or larger vehicles, aid passengers with wheelchairs and belongings, ensure safe loading/unloading, and complete simple documentation while communicating clearly

To The Rescue is hiring Transportation Drivers to provide safe and reliable transportation for individuals with disabilities in the community.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport individuals to appointments, services, and activities in either a mini-bus, a larger passenger van, or equivalent vehicle.
• Assist passengers with wheelchairs, walkers, and personal belongings as needed
• Ensure passengers are safely loaded and unloaded
• Maintain a professional and respectful environment
• Complete basic transportation documentation and communicate with team members as needed
