Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience transporting passengers or working in healthcare/caregiving setting preferred.
• Ability to operate wheelchair lifts, ramps, and secure mobility devices.
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and time management skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor with elderly/disabled passengers.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport non-emergency medical passengers to and from medical appointments, dialysis centers, and healthcare facilities.
• Assist passengers with boarding, deboarding, and securing wheelchairs or mobility devices.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and passenger documentation.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, passengers, and healthcare facility staff.
• Follow all HIPAA guidelines and maintain passenger confidentiality.
• Adhere to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times to ensure on‑time service.
