Focus Consulting is seeking an experienced Transportation Drafter/Designer in Midvale to produce drawings for Utah DOT projects using MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer. The role emphasizes accuracy, client service, and collaboration with project managers and engineers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant drafting experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This is a full-time, on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years using MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer in transportation drafting.
• Experience with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and knowledge of standards.
• Ability to develop accurate, detailed transportation drawings and design deliverables.
• Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication to interface with leadership and clients.
• Ownership, accountability, and commitment to helping others succeed.

• Willingness to perform administrative duties as required.

• Develop, revise, and maintain transportation design plans and construction documents using MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
• Prepare accurate, complete, and well-organized drawings meeting project requirements and applicable standards.
• Support UDOT transportation projects throughout the design and plan development process.
