State of West Virginia is seeking a Transportation District Supply Specialist to support the District Equipment Shop in Greenbrier County. The role focuses on full-performance storeroom duties, inventory management, and procurement tasks essential for highway projects.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least five years of clerical or storeroom experience, with strong organizational and analytical skills. State benefits are available to permanent employees.

Qualifications

High school diploma or the equivalent.
Five (5) years of clerical or storeroom/warehouse experience or related business operations experience (bookkeeping, timekeeping, purchasing).
Substitution: coursework from accredited colleges or vocational training may substitute for up to four years of experience.
Promotional Only: Five (5) years as hourly transportation worker with the Division of Highways.

Responsibilities

Duties relate to storeroom/warehouse operations and supply handling.
Recognize simple situations and make appropriate decisions.
Report to District Equipment Shop in Greenbrier County and perform related duties as required.
