Job summary

Optimum Staffing, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a reliable Dispatch/Administrative specialist to coordinate daily driver and dispatch operations, respond to driver questions, and keep transportation moving smoothly.

You will enter orders and shipment data into our systems, handle incoming calls, and perform general admin duties with accuracy. The role is full-time, Friday through Monday start at 6:00 AM, with 9-hour shifts in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Dispatch and/or Administrative experience REQUIRED.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or air shipments preferred.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong phone, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks and resolve issues efficiently.
• Available Friday-Monday starting at 6:00 AM for ~9-hour shifts.
• Dependable in a fast-paced transportation environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily driver and dispatch operations and respond to driver questions/issues
• Enter and update orders, shipment information, and other data accurately in computer systems
• Handle incoming phone calls, communicate updates, and assist with transportation-related issues
• Complete general administrative duties including data entry, filing, documentation, and recordkeeping
• Support transportation and air shipment operations while staying organized in a fast-paced environment
