Job summary

ACV Auctions is seeking a Transportation Admin - Dispatch Operations to support our Transportation department by assigning carriers to jobs, resolving routine issues, and delivering high-quality service. This role requires reading/writing in English, a high school diploma, at least 6 months in customer service or related field, and proficiency with MS Office or Salesforce.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience in customer service, administrative or clerical work, or transportation.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Developing teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with business technology including Salesforce and MS Office; Salesforce a plus.

Responsibilities

• Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Triage inquiries from customers and carriers and provide timely resolutions.
• Process transactions to support operations and dispatching, including assigning jobs.
• Maintain relationships with carriers, customers, and internal teams.
• Resolve basic issues using established processes and escalating when needed.
• Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of records in Salesforce and load boards.
• Keep dispatched job statuses updated and communicate with buyers, sellers, and carriers.
• Ensure transactions and records are accurate and compliant.
• Collaborate with management to identify issues or opportunities for improvement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
