Job summary

Hill International, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Director in Orlando, Florida to lead a major roadway/highway program. The role requires executive leadership of office and field teams, management of consultant and subcontractor relationships, and delivery oversight for a large-scale project across Florida.

Candidates must hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering, be a Florida-registered PE, and have 10+ years in transportation engineering and program management, including roadway/bridge programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Florida.
  • Minimum of 10 years of transportation engineering and program management experience in Florida.
  • Experience managing roadway and bridge programs.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing consultant and subcontractor relationships.
  • Strong contract management, financial oversight, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with public agencies, consultants, and professional service firms.
  • Must be based in or willing to work onsite in the Orlando, Florida area.

  • Provide analysis and recommendations regarding construction, contract administration, and program delivery issues.
  • Implement process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance program performance.
  • Support business development efforts and client relationship management throughout Florida.
