Job summary

Arcadis U.S. Inc. is seeking a Certified Project Manager ( Digital Project Controls ) to lead transportation projects and digital initiatives that strengthen PMO practices and project controls.

You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, and risks while coordinating diverse teams and external stakeholders. You will define business requirements, implement dashboards and reporting tools, and drive continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, Transportation, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in transportation project management, project controls, program management, or related roles.
• Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience developing or supporting PMO functions, governance, or enterprise systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating stakeholders across organizations.
• Experience supporting major transportation infrastructure projects or programs.
• Experience developing and using project performance metrics and analytics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop project management professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation project and program management from initiation to delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and resources.
• Manage project delivery commitments in line with contract requirements and objectives.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, staff, subconsultants, vendors, and external stakeholders for successful delivery.
• Prepare high-quality project communications, reports, and lessons learned to support client service and knowledge sharing.
• Develop and implement digital PMO standards, governance, and delivery frameworks for consistency and scalability.
• Lead digital project controls initiatives including schedule oversight, risk management, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
• Define business requirements and oversee tools, dashboards, and automation to strengthen project controls.
• Conduct reviews to evaluate delivery performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide coaching and training to project managers on best practices.
