Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Digital Delivery Lead in Transportation to guide BIM and digital delivery across major projects. You will drive strategy, standardize workflows, and mentor a broad network of digital design leads while collaborating with area, regional, and global teams.

The role emphasizes data-rich, model-based outcomes, coordination across disciplines, and adoption of advanced BIM techniques to improve project delivery and client value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher technical degree; relevant BIM/digital delivery experience preferred.
• 5+ years digital design (BIM element authoring) and 5+ years digital delivery (model management) experience.
• Advanced knowledge of BIM workflows, model governance and CDE practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Area Transportation digital delivery practice by setting strategy and accelerating adoption across projects.
• Define BIM scope and fees with Project Managers; develop and apply BIM Execution Plans and project standards.
• Serve as BIM/digital delivery lead on major projects; coordinate with BIM and digital design leads to maintain standards.
• Standardize BIM, CDE, QA/QC, and model governance to improve consistency and reduce rework.
• Develop and mentor a network of digital design leads; create career development pathways.
• Incorporate advanced BIM uses (3D coordination, 4D/5D, digital twins, asset management) into project delivery.
