Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Digital Delivery Lead within its Transportation Business Group to guide area digital delivery strategy and serve as a hands-on BIM and digital delivery leader on major transportation programs.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) and 5 years digital delivery (model management) experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of all discipline relations and operations of building systems.
• Advanced skillset in 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
• Advanced skillset in 3D Coordination tools.
• Advanced skillset in Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
• Familiar with industry standards and practices, disciplines codes and specifications.
• Familiar with basic automation and programming applications for efficiencies.
• Familiar with 3D design software add-ins and supporting applications.
• Familiar with content creation and management concepts.
• Superior client service, communication, and presentation skills are essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to serve as first line of technical support.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and leadership traits are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Area Transportation digital delivery practice by setting strategy and accelerating adoption.
• Define BIM scope and fees with project managers and implement BIM execution plans.
• Serve as BIM/digital delivery lead on major projects and coordinate with design leads.
• Standardize BIM, CDE, QA/QC, and model governance practices.
• Mentor and grow a multidisciplinary network of digital design leads and BIM managers.
• Integrate advanced BIM uses such as 3D coordination, 4D phasing, 5D estimating, and digital twins.
• Collaborate with leadership to align digital delivery strategy and promote scalable adoption across projects.
