Job summary

Larson Design Group is seeking a Transportation Digital Delivery Manager in Raleigh to advance digital delivery for our transportation sector. You will lead CAD/BIM standards, project technology setup, and training while balancing project needs, client requirements, and team adoption across offices.

The role requires 10+ years in transportation design tech, strong Bentley OpenRoads/OpenBridge and ProjectWise experience, and the ability to mentor staff and coordinate with partners.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of transportation design technology, CAD/BIM production, or digital delivery in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation digital delivery support for highway, bridge, and related infrastructure projects from initiation to final deliverable submission.
• Establish, maintain, document, and implement CAD/BIM standards, templates, workflows, and best practices with the Digital Practice team.
• Support project teams with CAD/BIM kickoff planning, project execution plans, file/model management procedures, delivery requirements, and production resources.
• Administer Bentley ProjectWise environments including project setup, workspace configuration, and permissions coordination.
• Provide technical leadership for Bentley OpenRoads Designer, OpenBridge Designer, ProjectWise, and related transportation design applications.
• Coordinate with internal teams, client representatives, and partner CAD/BIM managers to resolve technical and delivery issues.
• Audit projects for compliance with LDG standards and client requirements.
• Develop tools, checklists, and workflows to improve production quality and efficiency.
• Plan and lead technology and workflow improvement initiatives with measurable milestones and budgets.
• Develop and deliver CAD/BIM training and workflow documentation for transportation teams.
• Mentor staff in CAD/BIM workflows and digital delivery practices.
• Work with IT to resolve application and data management issues.
• Manage software planning, license usage, and technology adoption for transportation design.
• Stay updated on emerging digital delivery practices and apply improvements to LDG workflows.
