The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 3+ years of transportation design experience, with EIT preferred. Familiarity with MicroStation, InRoads/GEOPAK, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- 3+ years of experience in transportation design projects.
- EIT certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MicroStation V8 and InRoads or GEOPAK.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read engineering plans and perform basic calculations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare construction drawings, layouts, and exhibits per GDOT and SCDOT guidelines.
- Perform geometric calculations and estimate construction quantities using CADD tools.
- Assist with design and development of transportation improvement projects.
- Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to support delivery.
- Produce and refine design files ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Perform other duties to support transportation projects.
