Job summary

STV Incorporated in Florida seeks a senior leader to grow the Transportation Design practice across the West Florida market. You will recruit, mentor, and lead a multidisciplinary team, focusing on public-road projects while building strong FDOT and local government relationships.

You will drive business development, lead major pursuits, and ensure project delivery excellence across highway, bridge, and multimodal projects, coordinating with planning, traffic, and environmental teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Florida PE license required.
• 12+ years of progressively responsible experience in transportation and roadway or bridge design.
• Demonstrated experience delivering FDOT design projects.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships and win transportation engineering work.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary transportation projects and teams.
• Strong understanding of FDOT design standards, policies, and project development processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Transportation Design leadership in the West Florida market, recruiting and mentoring professionals.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with FDOT District 7, local governments, MPOs/TPOs, and municipal clients.
• Partner with marketing to pursue opportunities and set annual sales goals and pipelines.
• Serve as Project Manager/Director or Technical Lead on major transportation design projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
