Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern for the Transportation Market in Denver, CO. You will assist with drainage design, highway and intersection design, and civil site design on local and national projects, gaining hands-on experience under experienced engineers.

Tasks include transportation design and drafting with Microstation/AutoCAD, collaboration with design teams, occasional field tasks, and preparing design computations and quantity estimates.

Qualifications

• Sophomore college status
• Enrollment in a four-year college or university
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Must possess strong communication skills
• Local to the Denver, CO area
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Working knowledge of Microstation or AutoCAD is preferred
• Engineering design and analysis software experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Transportation design and drafting tasks using Microstation and/or AutoCAD
• Collaborate with task leads, designers, and teams to produce high quality design documents
• Occasional field related tasks
• Prepare and check design computations and quantity estimates
