Civil Science, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Design Division Manager in North Dakota to lead and grow the transportation design practice.

This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on project oversight, guiding a team of project managers and design staff while maintaining client relationships. Based in North Dakota (remote possible), the role emphasizes quality, schedule, budget performance, and business development to expand Civil Science's transportation market presence and reinforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license for North Dakota required.
• 10+ years in transportation design or related infrastructure.
• Experience managing teams and leading complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, QA/QC.
• Experience with NDDOT and/or public agency clients.
• Proficiency in relevant design and production tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the Transportation Design Division, including project managers and staff.
• Oversee multiple projects ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance.
• Serve as a senior client contact for transportation-related work.
• Support and drive business development and client pursuits.
• Collaborate with leadership to grow the division and expand market presence.
• Mentor and develop staff, fostering a strong team culture and excellence.
• Ensure QA/QC processes and high-quality project delivery.
• Balance strategic leadership with hands-on project oversight.
