Transportation Delivery Operations Supervisor 2nd

2nd Shift - 2pm Start/Monday-Friday - 10-hour shift

What you'll be doing:

The Delivery Operations Supervisor will lead the team to ensure the timely and complete delivery of all orders. Responsibilities include planning strategies to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals, collaborating with senior management to achieve operational excellence, and improving department processes. You will also participate in hiring, training, coaching associates, and using reports to evaluate performance. Ensuring safe work practices and fostering our safety culture are priorities.

What you bring to the table:

  • Ability to calculate, plan, and adjust headcount to meet objectives.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills across all levels.
  • Knowledge of transportation systems, processes, standards, and technology.
  • Experience coaching drivers through check rides.
  • Ability to quickly adopt safety procedures and promote safe practices.
  • An inclusive approach that seeks common ground and advocates for customers and employees.
  • Leadership by example with a growth mindset.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic verbal and written English skills.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 3 years of transportation experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, eligible to drive a commercial vehicle
  • Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
  • Obtain a 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role
  • Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, or carry up to 70 pounds
  • At least 21 years old
