AECOM in New York, NY is seeking a Transportation Data Analysis and Visualization Specialist to lead data-driven transportation planning, budgeting, and capital program tracking for NYC-area agencies. You will develop ETL workflows, build dashboards in Power BI and Tableau, and integrate legacy systems like CPAS and Oracle ERP to support project delivery and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in civil engineering, environmental science, economics, statistics, data science, urban planning, natural resources, or an earth science-related field plus 8 years of experience.
• Experience with ETL processes and programming languages for data analysis (SQL/Python/R).
• Experience with New York Metro agencies including Metro North, MTA, PANYNJ, NJT.

Responsabilités

• Lead collection, organization, analysis, and visualization of transportation data for NYC-area infrastructure projects.
• Develop ETL frameworks and data integration for large datasets.
• Create dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, to support design, maintenance, planning, and budgeting.
• Interface with clients and regulators on complex projects and business development.
• Manage financial modeling, cost controls, and capital programming for regulatory reporting and project delivery.
• Coordinate field/data collection activities and client visits as needed.
• Develop proposals, lead interdisciplinary teams, and deliver comprehensive reports.
• Maintain and integrate legacy systems to automate capital project data reporting.
• Mentor staff and support Project Managers and Planning personnel.
• Ensure high-quality work and safety standards within the team.
• Stay updated on data analytics and transportation planning best practices.
