Job summary

VHB is seeking a Transportation Data Analytics Lead to guide data-driven transportation initiatives across our technology enablement footprint. You will lead diverse teams of engineers, planners, and data scientists, shaping dashboards, data platforms, and predictive models for both public and private sector clients.

The role offers hybrid work flexibility with offices nationwide and opportunities to influence mobility policy, operations, and project delivery through data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8+ years of advanced analytics experience in transportation/engineering.
• Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field; deep knowledge of mobility datasets.
• Experience working with DOTs, transportation agencies, or public-sector clients is preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise transportation data analytics initiatives across service lines.
• Build and mentor high‑performing data analyst teams.
• Direct design and deployment of dashboards, data platforms, and analytics apps.
• Establish data governance, QA, and scalable ETL frameworks.
• Lead development of predictive and prescriptive models for planning and operations.
• Translate analytics into actionable executive recommendations.
