Job summary

Vitality Living Hendersonville is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join our team. This role drives residents to social and other activities, ensures safety, and adheres to schedules, while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and fuel levels.

We require a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and CPR/First Aid certification. A CDL may be needed for vehicles with more than 15 passengers; benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, PTO, 401(k), and attendance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver's license with clean record meeting company insurance standards.
• CDL designation may be required for buses over 15 passengers.
• Working knowledge of motor vehicle safety precautions and compliance with safety measures.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Drives vehicle from community to social and other destinations according to assigned schedule.
• Practices safe driving techniques, adheres to posted speed limits, and follows state guidelines for motor vehicle operation at all times.
• Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
• Documents all damages to company vehicles, including accidents, dents, and normal wear and tear.
• Cleans interior and exterior of vehicle after each outing and ensures adequate fuel levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
