Job summary

Pavement Preservation Group is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate and manage daily scheduling and routing for drivers, ensuring timely service delivery. You will liaise between drivers, customers, and departments to keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has experience in dispatching, strong DOT knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This on-site role is based in Tolleson, AZ and offers a competitive pay and benefit package.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug screening.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Basic knowledge of GPS and routing technology.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between drivers and management; effectively dispatch deliveries.
• Ensure DOT compliance and resolve issues promptly.
• Review daily driver docs for pre-trip inspections and reimbursements.
• Assign and dispatch drivers per availability and needs.
• Adjust dispatch schedules as necessary.
• Maintain clear communication with drivers, customers, and departments.
• Provide drivers with delivery instructions and route updates.
• Address and resolve issues during the dispatch process.
• Resolve customer inquiries and issues alongside the Dispatch Manager.
• Update customers on order status and manage expectations.
• Ensure dispatch activities comply with policies, safety regulations, and standards.
• Report safety concerns or incidents to management.

• 8 hour shift
• Monday- Friday
• On call (Every 3rd weekend)
