Job summary

Avantara Arrowhead seeks a Driver to transport residents to appointments and events, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle and assisting residents as needed. You will support high-quality care by ensuring timely, secure transport and adherence to safety standards in all vehicle operations.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered SD driver license, and a CNA license is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Unencumbered Driver's License as required by the State of South Dakota.
• SD CNA license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from appointments outside the facility.
• Transport residents to and from activities and functions.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, sanitized and safe for use.

As a Driver you will assist our residents in receiving the specialized care they need. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Arrowhead by transporting them to and from appointments outside of the facility, transporting residents to and from activities and functions, and ensuring a clean, sanitized and safe environment in the facility vehicle.

Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered Driver's License or other motor vehicle operator license as required by the State of South Dakota, and an active SD CNA license is strongly preferred.

Prior Driver experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
