Job summary

Avantara North is seeking a Bus Driver to join our compassionate team in Rapid City, SD. You will support residents by responding to call lights, assisting with non-nursing tasks, and ensuring safe, clean environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and CPR certification.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Answer resident call lights and assist with residents' non-nursing needs.
• Keep resident rooms clean and sanitized; change linens as required.
• Distribute meals and assist clinical staff with daily activities.
• Provide safe, courteous transportation to residents as needed.

As a Bus Driver you are instrumental in providing non-nursing related care to our residents. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara North by answering resident call lights, attending to our resident’s non-nursing related needs, ensuring resident rooms and clean and sanitized, changing linens, distributing resident meals and assisting clinical staff. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent and a C.P.R. Certification. One (1) year of experience in a Customer Service role is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate! Valid drivers license.
