Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to plan and coordinate daily transportation for PACE participants.

You will work closely with the Transportation Clerk, dispatcher, and driver to schedule transportation needs and ensure timely, reliable service. The role requires experience in coordinating programs within the healthcare field, with bilingual abilities and a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience coordinating a program.
• Experience in health care and/or geriatrics setting preferred.
• Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred.
• BLS certification or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate daily transportation services for AltaMed PACE participants.
• Collaborate with the Transportation Clerk, dispatcher, and driver to schedule transportation needs.
• Ensure timely pickups, safety, and high-quality participant experience.

Job Overview

The transportation coordinator plans, organizes, and coordinates the daily transportation services of AltaMed PACE participants. The Transportation Coordinator works closely with the Transportation clerk, dispatcher, and driver in scheduling and coordinating the transportation needs of PACE participants.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Minimum 1-year experience in coordinating a program.
• Experience working in the health care field and/or geriatrics setting required.
• Electronic Health Records preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location preferred.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

$25.75 - $32.19 hourly
