Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) is seeking Construction Inspectors to support Lynchburg district highway projects in Virginia. The role involves field inspection, documentation, and quality control under a Construction Manager.

Full-time, travel may be required, with standard 40-hour weeks and potential overtime. Three to seven years of experience for standard Inspector or seven to ten+ years at mid-senior level are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with VDOT or civil construction standards preferred.
• Ability to read plans and interpret specs.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Aufgaben

• Monitor contractor work for quality control and contract compliance on roadway, structure, and bridge projects.
• Inspect field work including excavations, drainage, road surfaces, and structures.
• Document contractor daily production rates and field measurements.
• Schedule inspection phases with contractor and agency personnel.
• Review materials testing and survey data; ensure adherence to plans.
• Maintain project records and diaries; manage pay quantities and monthly estimates.
• Ensure compliance with EEO/DBE requirements on federal-aid projects.
