Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Baltimore seeks qualified Construction Inspectors to support local and state clients in the region. This full-time role focuses on field inspection of highway, bridge and roadway construction to ensure compliance with MDOT SHA standards.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of inspection experience, a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel and work nights or overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of construction inspection experience in highway, bridge and roadway construction with accompanying certifications.
• Must have a high school degree or state equivalency certificate.
• Must have demonstrated construction inspection experience with assorted interstate, roadway, bridge, storm drainage, TMDL and building facility contracts involving MDOT SHA construction standards and specifications.
• Must have experience with Inspector Daily Reports (IDRs), Force Account Records, reconciling Contractor Monthly Invoicing and providing detailed weekly progress reports related to both project progress and budget.
