Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Baltimore seeks qualified construction inspectors to serve local and state clients. The role emphasizes reading plans, reporting, and ensuring MDOT SHA construction standards are met on bridge and roadway projects.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of relevant transportation experience, and certifications (TET III–V) with OSHA 10 training. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Competenze

• High School diploma or State Equivalency Certificate.
• 1 year of relevant transportation experience.
• TET III – Mid level technician with 3 years of relevant inspection exp.
• TET IV – Senior level technician with 5 years of relevant inspection exp.
• TET V – Project Manager with 8 years of relevant inspection exp.
• Experience with MDOT SHA inspection standards and IDRs/force accounts.
• SHA/ MARTCP certificates per contract type and OOC requirements.
• OSHA 10 hour training (WRA-paid) and SHA approval prep.

Mansioni

• Inspect transportation projects in accordance with MDOT SHA standards.
• Prepare Inspector Daily Reports (IDRs) and Force Account Records.
• Reconcile monthly invoicing and provide weekly progress reports.
• Travel to and from project sites as required.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications; sketching for documentation.
