The Construction Inspector will perform field inspection and documentation of construction activities on DDOT infrastructure projects, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with contract plans, specifications, and applicable standards.
Working under the direction of the Resident Engineer / Construction Manager, the CI is responsible for daily field observation, quantity tracking, documentation, and quality verification, serving as DDOT's frontline presence on the project.
Interested applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, be available for night work, OT and/or weekends as needed, capable of working independently and within a team, and be subject to background check. Applicants preferred to have experience with paving, roadway and bridge construction inspection and records keeping.
