A nationally recognized engineering consulting firm is seeking professionals for a long-term PA Turnpike project starting in Spring 2026. Responsibilities include inspection and documentation of construction activities, and maintaining necessary paperwork. Candidates should have a related degree or relevant experience in construction inspection. Qualifications

• 2 years minimum transportation, highway, or bridge construction inspection experience.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and walk several miles daily.
• Availability to work in various weather conditions and shifts.
• A valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Complete inspection and documentation of construction activities.
• Review and interpret contract and job specifications.
• Maintain daily paperwork as per clients’ requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete inspection and documentation of a wide variety of construction activities by the contractor confirming all work is being done in accordance with specifications.
• Review and interpret contract and job specifications
• Maintain daily paperwork in accordance with clients’ requirements

Requirements

• Perform math calculations
• Proficient computer skills
• Detail oriented
• A valid driver’s license is required
• Physical requirements
  • Stand for extended periods of time
  • Walk several miles per day
  • Work in the outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Work various shifts including overtime as needed
  • Travel to project sites

Eligibility

• 2 years minimum transportation, highway or bridge construction inspection experience
  • or 4 years minimum of highway or bridge construction experience
  • or Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Preferred certifications but not required
  • NICET highway construction level II
  • PennDOT concrete
  • NECEPT bituminous
