A civil engineering firm in Bellefonte is seeking a Construction Inspector to oversee and document construction activities ensuring compliance with specifications. The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education. Candidates should be detail-oriented, capable of working in various weather conditions, and possess a valid driver’s license. Qualifications

• 2 years minimum transportation, highway or bridge construction inspection experience or 4 years of highway or bridge construction experience.
• Proficient use of computer software for documentation and calculations.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and walk several miles per day.

Responsibilities

• Complete inspection and documentation of a wide variety of construction activities by the contractor confirming all work is being done in accordance with specifications.
• Review and interpret contract and job specifications
• Maintain daily paperwork in accordance with clients’ requirements
