Job summary

Erdman Anthony is seeking a Transportation Construction Manager for a long-term I-83 project in Fall 2026. The role focuses on leading inspection staff, managing daily reports, and ensuring work adheres to plans and contract terms.

Ideal candidates have PennDOT TCIS-1+ experience and relevant certifications, with responsibilities spanning schedules, change orders, and coordination with contractors to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• Three-year minimum PennDOT transportation construction experience as TCIS-1 or higher.
• Certifications in Concrete Technician, NECEPT Field Technician, or NICET Level III/IV.
• Experience supervising inspection staff and managing project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Managing a large inspection staff and all project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, pay items and schedules.
• Coordinating with contractors to ensure work follows plans, specs and contract requirements; track progress and resolve delays and cost issues.
• Resolve construction problems/issues directly with the contractor.

Responsibilities

• Managing a large inspection staff and all project documentation including daily reports, change orders, pay items and schedules.


• Coordinating with contractors and making sure work follows plans, specifications and contract requirements. Tracking progress and resolving delays and cost issues.


• Resolve construction problems/issues with contractor.

Eligibility

• Three (3) year minimum PennDOT experience as a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor 1 (TCIS-1) or higher, and has PennDOT Concrete Technician Certification, NECEPT Field Technician Certification, or NICET Level III or IV Certification in Highway Construction.
