Job summary

Pero Transport, LLC is seeking a Transportation Compliance Manager to ensure all transportation operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations. The role oversees compliance programs, policies, and audits while coordinating with legal and internal audit teams to minimize risk and ensure safe, lawful transport operations.

You will design and implement training for drivers and staff, monitor program effectiveness, and report to senior management on compliance metrics and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in compliance, legal, or related field.
• Proven experience in managing compliance programs and leading a compliance team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s compliance programs and policies.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the compliance programs; recommend improvements.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of compliance documentation and records.
• Ensure operations and business transactions comply with all regulatory requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and update programs accordingly.
• Advise Executive Leadership on new regulatory requirements.
• Lead internal investigations and provide corrective action recommendations.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management and regulators.
