Job summary

Bay Area Turning Point, Inc. seeks an Operations Aide to transport clients to appointments, interviews, and resources to assist in overcoming abuse. Reports to Crisis Intervention Manager within the Client Services Program, with a 40-hour weekly minimum schedule.

Requirements include a valid Texas driver’s license, a clean driving record, the ability to lift 40 lbs, and at least 1 year in transportation services. Applies to all shifts and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in transportation services.
• Possession of valid, non-suspended Texas Driver’s License.
• Clean driving record and automobile insurance coverage.
• Ability to work untraditional hours, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to lift/carry/move a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Must pass criminal background check and motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for shelter, hotel and non-residential clients.
• Schedule and maintain a weekly calendar of approved client transportation.
• Document client transportation and submit logs weekly.
• Assist with weekly vehicle walk-throughs for maintenance and cleanliness.
• Support Donation Center & Client Closet operations by transporting donations.
• Answer the agency's 24-hour crisis intervention hotline.
• Other duties as assigned.
