Engle Martin in Atlanta is seeking a Transportation Examiner to provide claims examination services for FTC accounts. The role requires deep knowledge of insurance coverage and the ability to manage complex physical damage claims with minimal supervision.

Candidates should have 3+ years in commercial vehicle examination (Lloyd’s of London experience preferred), a related Bachelor’s degree, and an active multi-jurisdiction license. On-site, full-time with occasional catastrophe-support duties.

Formación

• Three years of experience in commercial vehicle examination preferred, including Lloyd’s of London experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and critical thinking skills.
• Active license or ability to obtain in multiple jurisdictions within expected time frame.

Responsabilidades

• Determines coverage and identifies coverage issues related to various claims, applying policy knowledge.
• Establishes contact with insured parties, agents, brokers, public adjusters, attorneys, and others.
• Reviews claims and status with clients and brokers to facilitate prompt resolution.
• Prepares documentation for verification of losses and administration of claims.
• Ensures information supports fraud detection and proper reporting.
• Evaluates damages and assesses subrogation potential with appropriate teams.
• Handles moderate to large FTC losses up to $150,000, authority up to $75,000 initial reserve.
