Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering.
• Proficiency in Bentley's OpenRoads software.
• 4+ years in transportation engineering focusing on roadway design.
• Familiar with AASHTO, FTA, FHWA, CTDOT guidelines.
• Experience with drainage design and environmental compliance.
• Proficient in MicroStation, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and MS Office.
• PE license strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Use OpenRoads to develop and refine 3D models, alignments, profiles, corridors, and layouts for transportation projects.
• Mentor and train junior engineers in OpenRoads usage.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate design elements into project plans.
• Prepare drawings, plans, and technical specifications for roadway, highway, and transit projects.
• Conduct design reviews, constructability assessments, and quality control checks.
• Contribute to project reports, presentations, and client communications.
• Stay current with industry trends and OpenRoads advancements.
