Job summary

STV Incorporated in New York City seeks an Open Roads Project Manager with extensive OpenRoads experience to lead transportation design efforts. You will manage roadway, highway and transit projects, coordinating with engineers, architects, and PMs to deliver high-quality designs on schedule.

The role emphasizes mentorship, client communication, and staying current with Bentley software advancements to drive project success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering is required.
• P.E. License in New York or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• 5–15 years of experience in transportation engineering with roadway design focus.
• Proficiency in OpenRoads Designer; familiarity with NYSDOT/NYTA/AASHTO; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Use OpenRoads to develop 3D models, alignments, profiles, corridors, and cross-sections.
• Mentor junior engineers to build technical skills in OpenRoads.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate design elements into project plans.
• Prepare drawings, plans, and specifications for roadway/highway/transit projects.
• Conduct design reviews, constructability checks, and quality control to meet objectives and standards.
• Contribute to project reports, presentations, and client communications for delivery.
• Stay current with OpenRoads trends and apply new knowledge to improve outcomes.
