Larson Design Group seeks a Transportation CAD Manager to advance digital delivery for highway and bridge projects. You will lead CAD/BIM standards, project setup, and production resources, partnering with LDG’s Digital Practice team.

The role requires senior expertise with Bentley tools, CAD/BIM implementations, and mentoring across offices to improve quality and efficiency in transportation design workflows.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, transportation, CAD, or related field.
• 10+ years in transportation design tech, CAD/BIM production or digital delivery in multidisciplinary engineering.
• 7+ years implementing or managing CAD/BIM on transportation projects.
• Advanced experience with Bentley OpenRoads/OpenBridge and ProjectWise.
• Experience with PennDOT or similar agencies and highway/bridge workflows.
• Proven ability to lead standards implementation, cross-team coordination, mentoring.

Responsabilités

• Lead digital delivery support for highway, bridge, and related projects from initiation to final delivery.
• Establish and maintain CAD/BIM standards, templates, workflows with the Digital Practice team.
• Provide planning, file/model management, and production resource guidance to project teams.
• Administer Bentley ProjectWise environments and ensure standards compliance.
• Lead training, tools development, and workflow improvements for transportation teams.
• Mentor staff in CAD/BIM workflows and standards compliance.
• Collaborate with IT and leadership to resolve tech and licensing issues.
