Larson Design Group is seeking a Transportation CAD Manager to advance digital delivery for highway and bridge projects. You will lead CAD/BIM standards, setup, and production support within the Digital Practice, partnering with transportation design teams.

The role requires 10+ years in transportation design tech, with proven leadership in standards and training, and collaboration across offices and partners.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, transportation, CAD, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience with transportation design technology and digital delivery in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• 7+ years of experience implementing, supporting, or managing CAD/BIM on transportation projects.
• Advanced experience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer and OpenBridge Designer.
• Experience working with transportation agencies such as PennDOT or similar.
• Strong understanding of highway/bridge/delivery workflows.
• Ability to lead standards implementation and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead transportation digital delivery support from initiation to final deliverable.
• Establish, maintain, document, and implement CAD/BIM standards, templates, workflows.
• Support kickoff planning, file/model management, and production resources.
• Administer Bentley ProjectWise environments and ensure compliance.
• Provide technical leadership for Bentley OpenRoads Designer and related tools.
• Coordinate with clients and partner CAD/BIM managers to resolve issues.
• Audit projects for LDG standards and quality expectations.
• Develop tools, checklists, and workflows to improve production quality.
• Lead technology and workflow improvement initiatives with milestones and budgets.
• Deliver CAD/BIM training and onboarding materials; mentor staff.
