• Six (6) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in building maintenance, building construction, in the installation and maintenance of building electrical or heating systems, or highway related experience.
• Substitution: Successful completion of vocational school training may substituted for the required experience through an established formula.
• Travel may be required; therefore, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of workers to complete building maintenance and repairs.
• Fix a furnace and other building systems as needed.
• Construct or repair walls and assist with snow removal as required.
• Maintain and use a variety of trades to service highway buildings.

No two days are the same in this job. One day you might fix a furnace. The next day you might build a wall or clear snow. You will use skills from many trades and lead a crew of workers. We trust you to use your know-how and decide how to get the job done.
