Job summary

The Village of Ackley is seeking a Transportation Assistant to safely transport residents to medical appointments and events, while delivering a positive and engaging experience. This PRN role supports flexible scheduling needs and offers a chance to build meaningful connections with residents during each trip.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, assisting with loading/unloading, and maintaining a friendly, respectful demeanor. Compensation varies based on experience and licensure.

Qualifications

• Required: Chauffeur’s License.
• Preferred: CDL with Passenger Endorsement.
• Preferred: CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Clean driving record meeting insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide punctual, high-quality transportation for residents to appointments, events, and activities.
• Complete all required service documentation accurately and promptly.
• Assist residents with safe loading/unloading, including medical equipment.
• Interact with residents in a friendly, respectful, and positive manner.
