Grandview Nursing & Rehabilitation in Danville, PA is seeking a Transportation Assistant to join our caring team. The role involves assisting residents with errands and appointments, providing friendly, patient-centered service, and supporting the transportation scheduler and van driver.

This full-time position offers a day shift with some variation, opportunities for growth, and a supportive work environment where safety and comfort come first.

• Caregiver experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with assigned tasks, including occasional toileting.
• Attend to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, adhering to instructions provided by supervisory staff.
• Push, pull, lift, bend, twist, and squat to help residents in wheelchairs and during transports.
• Provide exemplary customer service to residents, Grandview, and external facilities.
• Assist Transportation scheduler and van driver as needed for resident transports.
• Caregiver experience preferred.

Transport Assistant Responsibilities

• Assist patients with assigned tasks, including occasional toileting.
• Attend to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, adhering to instructions provided by supervisory staff.
• Assume responsibility for pushing residents in their wheelchairs and accompanying them on medical appointments. Must be able to push, pull, lift, bend, twist, and squat at times during the work day.
• Provide exemplary customer service to residents, Grandview, and external facilities.
• Assist Transportation scheduler and van driver as needed for resident transports.
• Caregiver experience preferred.
