Job summary

Wayfair is seeking a Manager for the Performance Management team based in Boston to drive improvements across its global transportation and delivery network. You will translate complex data into clear insights, lead analytics initiatives, and own critical dashboards for senior leaders.

The role requires building strong cross‑functional partnerships, mentoring early‑career analysts, and leveraging AI/automation to scale processes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
• Direct people management experience, including coaching, performance management, and developing early-career talent.
• Experience in reporting and analytics.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, SQL or GBQ, and data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI.
• Familiarity with Python or R is preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong presentation skills to all levels of management.
• Experience in taking a company forward in a fast-growth environment, providing insight for direction, and managing change effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of analysts responsible for performance management across Wayfair’s global transportation network.
• Own weekly and monthly business reviews, translating performance trends into clear insights, root causes, and actions for leaders.
• Lead strategic analytics initiatives and team roadmaps, from problem identification through implementation and measurement of results.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses and build advanced reporting to generate actionable insights.
• Build, operationalize, and iterate on key performance metrics and dashboards to communicate insights from analyses to stakeholders and leaders.
• Build strong partnerships and collaboration with leaders and stakeholders to enable consistency in programs with peers.
• Build and leverage AI and automation tools to accelerate analysis, streamline recurring workflows, and improve the scalability of the team’s work.
