Job summary

Hormel Foods is seeking a Manager – Transportation Intelligence & Optimization to lead transportation analytics, decision intelligence, and optimization initiatives. You will transform data into actionable decisions to improve service, reduce cost, and maximize asset utilization.

The role requires strong BI and analytics leadership, experience with Oracle Transportation Management and Power BI, and collaboration across Finance, IT, and Operations. Remote work with travel up to 20% is available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree; Master's preferred.
10+ years Transportation or Supply Chain experience.
5+ years leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
Experience leading BI/analytics or optimization functions.
Experience with Oracle Transportation Management and Power BI.
U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Lead the Transportation Decision Intelligence strategy and multi-year roadmap.
Own the transportation analytics and optimization portfolio.
Direct transportation BI and executive reporting with dashboards and KPIs.
Identify and lead transportation optimization opportunities across network design and routing.
Establish data and analytics governance with KPI definitions and standards.
Champion AI-enabled decision intelligence to improve operations and finances.
Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders to drive adoption of analytics solutions.
Lead and develop a high-performing Transportation Decision Intelligence team.
