Job summary

McKesson is seeking a highly analytical Senior Transportation Business Analyst to optimize transportation costs, manage carrier performance, and automate reporting across 3PL operations. The role partners with Operations, Finance, Client Services, and carrier partners to transform logistics data into actionable insights that reduce costs and improve client outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Typically 7+ years of experience in transportation analytics, logistics analytics, freight operations, supply chain analytics, or related roles.
Advanced Excel, dashboard/reporting experience, and SQL data analysis.

Responsibilities

Analyze shipment profiles to identify optimal transportation modes, service levels, and carrier selections.
Reconcile carrier invoices against contracted rates, shipment data, and client billing records.
Design, maintain, and enhance carrier scorecards and KPI reporting.
Build transportation cost models, lane analyses, and scenario comparisons.
Develop dashboards and automated reporting solutions using Power BI.
