Job summary

Tyson Foods seeks an Analytics Intern to support the Warehousing Analytics team in developing data, automation, AI, and operational technology solutions for Logistics and warehouse operations.

This hands-on internship emphasizes rapid prototyping, AI-assisted development, and lightweight applications, with opportunities to work across labor, inventory, service, throughput, and cost data.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a related degree with at least one year remaining.
• Strong analytics and programming fundamentals preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve operations.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate coding, research, analysis, and documentation.
• Prototype proofs of concept and build lightweight web apps.
• Support SQL development, data validation, and basic data modeling.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business users to define requirements.
• Document data definitions, prompts, and development approaches.
• Complete an end-to-end internship project and present results.
