Job summary

Otis SE is seeking a Logistics Analyst Summer Intern to support the Logistics Center of Excellence in advancing global transportation and warehousing strategies through data analysis, scenario modeling, and continuous improvement. You will work with regional stakeholders to improve cost visibility, sourcing outcomes, and end-to-end material flows.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large data sets.
Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI/Power Query/Python/SQL is preferred.
Interest in AI, automation, digital tools for supply chain decisions.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Comfort in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple priorities.
Demonstrated curiosity, ownership, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Develop and facilitate transportation and warehousing RFPs across regions.
Validate inputs/outputs from procurement events including lane data and rate structures.
Manage templates ensuring alignment across regional stakeholders and teams.
Test procurement results for accuracy and completeness.
Build tools and reporting to quantify value after implementation.
Quantify impact of off-cycle changes across modes and warehousing.
Analyze cost, service, capacity, supplier, and operational impacts of changes.
Create AI-enabled tools to optimize carrier selection.
Develop dashboards to improve visibility of spend and performance.
Collaborate across regions to identify end-to-end value opportunities.
Track procurement savings and productivity initiatives.
