Job summary

PBF Energy in Parsippany, NJ seeks a Transportation Assistant to support cross-modal invoicing, reporting, and analytics for Transportation and Commercial Infrastructure. You will validate and process vendor invoices, assist with month-end accruals, and maintain records with high attention to detail.

The role requires 2+ years in transportation, logistics, accounting, or analytics, with SAP and BI tooling experience preferred. On-site work five days a week with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in transportation, logistics, accounting, or analytics.
• Oil/energy/refining or bulk-commodity experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, code and process transportation and storage invoices and charges.
• Verify invoices against contracts, rates and records.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
• Support month-end accruals and cost reporting for Transportation and Infrastructure.
• Maintain auditable records for invoices, accruals and supporting docs.
