Job summary

Fellowes Brands in Aurora, IL is seeking a Transportation Analyst to optimize freight spend and improve service. You will manage carrier relationships, support NMFC, and coordinate with Traffic, Distribution and Customer Service teams to align cost objectives with customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on budgeting, freight reporting, and data-driven decision making, with a focus on LTL, TL and PTL for multiple distribution centers in Illinois and Nevada.

Qualifications

• Experience managing LTL/TL/PTL freight spend across multiple distribution centers.
• Ability to analyze transportation costs and identify savings opportunities.
• Familiarity with NMFC and DOT regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist month-end budgeting, accruals, and freight reporting.
• Manage transportation activities for key customer accounts, with focus on Amazon.
• Develop and maintain carrier relationships and negotiate rates with 3PL partners.
• Support NMFC item setup and maintain freight payment, audit, and exception-resolution processes.
• Analyze domestic freight spend and recommend cost-saving improvements.
• Coordinate carrier agreements and freight-cost governance.
