Job summary

Avenue at Aurora is seeking a Transportation Aide to safely operate our facility vehicles for scheduled trips, assist residents with boarding and mobility, and provide friendly, respectful service to every resident.

If you are dependable, patient, and caring, you’ll fit right in with our team. A valid driver’s license, background checks, CPR and First Aid certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 5 points.
• Clear criminal and FBI background checks.
• Medical exam and Passenger Assistance Course completion.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents physically.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate facility vehicles for scheduled trips.
• Assist residents with boarding, exiting, and mobility needs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues.
• Follow traffic laws and facility policies.
• Coordinate transportation schedules with staff.
• Keep accurate records for billing and documentation.
• Provide friendly, respectful service to all residents.
