Job summary

Westfield Quality Care of Aurora is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Transportation Aide to join our team as a full-time role. You will help transport residents to appointments, therapy sessions, and social activities, while providing companionship and monitoring safety.

This position requires a valid CNA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. You will collaborate with nursing staff, maintain records, and participate in orientation

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required.

• Ability to lift/move residents and assist transfers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and activities.
• Provide emotional support and companionship during transportation.
• Monitor resident vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with wheelchair and stretcher transfers.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and vital signs.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans.
• Participate in orientation and training programs to ensure compliance with facility policies.
